Plot:
Jaime Escalante is a mathematics teacher in a school in a hispanic neighbourhood. Convinced that his students have potential, he adopts unconventional teaching methods to try and turn gang members and no-hopers into some of the country's top algebra and calculus students. IMDB

Review:
One of my favorites. This is a common Sunday afternoon movie in the States. Or it was when I was growing up.

Definately a good movie. The acting is well done and believable.
It is a fun story, very entertaining, and very uplifting.

A good movie for teenagers.
